Community is a collection of group of people in a particular place.

Community which people belong to are:

  • Urban community
  • Rural community

Evaluation

  • What is the community
  • Mention the types of community you know

Summary: Teacher goes over the topic once again to enhance better understanding

Conclusion: Teacher corrects and marks pupils’ notes

Content

Some types of community people belong to are:

  • Traditional community: This community is ruled by traditional rulers. They know each other. Examples are villages and small towns
  • Modern community: This community is ruled by government officials. The people do not know each other very well. Examples are large towns and cities. 3) 3) School community: This is also a community. We spend most of our time there.
