  e.g (i) 2NaOH+CO2 → Na2CO3 +H2O
  (ii) Ca(OH)2 + CO2 → CaCO3 +H2O

(3) Hot magnesium burns in CO2 to form carbon and oxide of magnesium.
CO2 +2Mg → 2MgO + C

4. Red hot carbon burn in CO2 to form carbon ii oxide
CO2 +C → 2CO
