SUB-TOPIC: SKILLS THAT PROMOTE INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP.

Skills that Promote Interpersonal Relationship in the society includes the following:

  1. Love: Love is an essential virtue necessary for good interpersonal relationship in the society. Love is not restricted to romantic relationships. Genuine love for one another would promote peace, unity, oneness and mutual co-existence in the society.
  2. Trust: This virtue enables people to have confidence and believe in other people. When mutual trust is established between people, it may lead to an enduring relationship in the society.
  3. Tolerance: This is the ability to maintain cordial relation and acceptance of someone despite differences or difficulties. When we learn to tolerate one another, cordial relationship would be sustained to last longer.
  4. Honesty: Honesty is being opened minded, transparent, sincere and factual. Honesty promotes good friendship, effective, cordial and deep relationship between people.
  5. Kindness: Kindness implies being charitable showing tender care and concern for others. It is being helpful towards someone in need not for anything in return but out of free and generous heart. Kindness will help promote lasting interpersonal relationship among people.
  6. Patience: This entails endurance under difficult circumstances. It is having the ability to persevere in the face of delay or provocation without being annoyed or upset especially when faced with long-term difficulties. This virtue is very essential in promoting good interpersonal relationships.
