SUB-TOPIC 1: MEANING OF OLD LIFE AS LIVING IN SIN

Old life is a lifestyle that is against God’s will. It is a life full of sin in accordance to the dictates and passion of the flesh.

SUB-TOPIC 2: CHARACTERISTICS OF OLD LIFE Gal. 5:19-21, Col. 3:5-7

Old life of sin is characterized by fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, covetousness, anger, wrath, malice, slander, lies, bribery, idolatry, fraud, homosexuality, Lesbianism, selfishness, tax invasion etc.

Paul reminded Christians that on account of the above characteristics of the old life, the punishment of God will come upon those who refuse to do away with the old life.
