Prevention Common Crime
- Family: The basic foundation of preventing crime starts from the family background and upbringing offered to any child in his / her family. This is the primary assignment of a good parent to give adequate care to any child irrespective of the sex
- Reporting crime: Another important method of crime prevention is to report crimes to proper authorities. If anyone witnesses or hears about a possible crime, he/she needs to contact a police officer to look into the situation.
- Cooperation in the community: This will contribute to community policing where citizens themselves join forces with the police in protecting their neighbourhood.
- Social welfare: Social welfare is one of the greatest contra-measures to keep unemployed individuals from resorting to desperate means in order to keep a head above water.
- Sports: Sports provide a good outlet for young men and perhaps keeps them out of trouble.
