Crescent University Admission Requirements For Postgraduate Degrees.

The University admits only graduates from recognized tertiary institutions into its postgraduate programmes on meeting the requirements stipulated for the intended programmes of study. The general Crescent University Admission Requirements for Postgraduate Degrees are as follows:

M.Tech.

1. E / B.Tech Degree with a minimum CGPA of 5.0 / 50% of marks in relevant Engineering Programme
2. Selection of candidates for admission to M.Tech. Programmes is based on the merit of the candidates in Entrance Examination conducted by the respective departments or any other Nationally Recognized Entrance Examination
3. Selection is through counselling based on the rank secured in the Entrance Examination and also their merit in the qualifying examination
4. Candidates having valid GATE score are admitted directly

MBA

1. Any Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) with a minimum CGPA of 5.0 / 50% of marks from UGC recognized Universities / Institutions
2. Selection of candidate is based on combined merit in the UG Degree Programme and written test
3. Candidates having valid score in Management Aptitude Test (MAT) or other nationally recognized entrance test will be admitted directly

MCA

1. BCA / B.Sc. in Computer Science / B.Sc in Mathematics degree with a minimum CGPA of 5.0 / 50% of marks in qualifying programme from recognized Universities / Institutions

OR

2. Any Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) with a minimum CGPA of 5.0 / 50% of marks in qualifying programme from recognized Universities / Institutions and Mathematics should be one of the subjects of study at either Degree or +2 level

MBA Strategy Focus

3. All applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution
4. Graduate with minimum 50% marks
5. Final year students can also apply
6. Candidates who are in final year of Bachelor’s degree, are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates will have to submit the original certificate of having graduated and mark sheet of the final year degree examination while joining the course
7. Valid score in any of the following common entrance examinations: CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT, TANCET & Crescent School of Business Admission Test (CSBAT)
8. Working Experience: Not compulsory but desirable
9. Should have good communication skills
10. Should be able to converse, read and write in English given that the medium of instruction of the CSB’ MBA Strategy Focus Program is English.

M.Sc.

1. Bachelor degree in the relevant programme of study
2. Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the qualifying examinations and interview

M.Com.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with a minimum CGPA of 5.0 / 50% of marks in qualifying level of graduation from the recognized Universities / Institutions

MA Islamic Studies

1. Any UG Degree with the ability of Quran Reading. Basic Islamic knowledge and a Pass in Entrance Test is mandate
