BEHAVIOURAL OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
- Find the missing numbers in an open sentence;
- Switch equations perfectly
BUILDING BACKGROUND: Pupils are familiar with solving different mathematical equations
CONTENT:
OPEN SENTENCE
Examples:
- 5 + = 12 ;
12 – 5 = 7 so, = 7
- X 3 = 18 ;
18 3 = 6 so, = 6
- 10 – = 4 ;
10 – 4 = 6 so, = 6

EVALUATION: Pupils are evaluated thus
