CONTENT OF THE LESSON

Meaning of Rules and Regulations

Definition of Rules

The rules are the standard set of instruction made for people, which explains how things are to be done

The rule should be followed by the public as they are made for their welfare of them.

Rules tell us what to do and what not to do. It can be set up for home, hospital, institution, college, office, school, etc

Definition of regulations

Regulation can be defined as the rules which are authorized by the government and approved by the public.

For examples, rules and regulations of a school may include rules against noise-making, speaking vernacular, fighting in and outside school compound, late coming, use of bad language, etc

ACTIVITY

  • What are the rules?
  • What are regulations?

ASSIGNMENT

After the evaluation and a recap, the teacher gives the pupils the following exercise to do either as class or homework.

CONCLUSION

The teacher concludes the lesson by recapping the key points.

TOPIC: Importance of rules and regulations

CONTENT OF THE LESSON

Importance of Rules of and Regulations

  • Schools rules are important to make because they enable the class to run smoothly so that everyone can learn and benefit from what the teachers has to offer
  • School Regulations have to do with discipline and punishment.
  • Regulations in the school help to maintain peace and order in the school environment.

An obedient student is in agreement with the school rules and codes of conduct.

ASSIGNMENT
