- state the importance of specimen A (chicken egg)
- mention the products that could be obtained from specimen E (rabbit)
- calculate the expected kindling date for rabbit
- state ways of controlling ear mange in rabbits
- mention other organisms which have similar effects as specimen H (tick) on farm animals -mention the forms in which specimen J (Guinea grass) could be preserved
- state three qualities of the preserved forms of Guinea grass
- list the management practices that could be adopted to improve a pasture on which specimen J (Guinea grass) and K (Pueraria) are grown

Based on the observed weaknesses the Chief Examiners recommended as follow:
- Only competent graduates of Animal Science/Production should be saddled with the responsibility of teaching the subject in Senior Secondary Schools;
- Animal Husbandry should be taught as a practical oriented subject through laboratory activities, field trips, excursions, etc
- Adequate facilities and textbooks on Animal Husbandry should be made
- available to enhance the teaching-learning of Animal Husbandry in Senior Secondary Schools.
Observed Students’ Strength
The candidates performed very well in the following questions:
- mention other farm animals from which specimens A (chicken egg), B (cattle horn) and C (cattle hoof) could be obtained
- state the functions of specimens B (cattle horn) and C (cattle hoof)
- list the products that could be obtained from specimen B (cattle horn)
- give the reasons for keeping specimen E (rabbit)
- mention the endoparasites and ectoparasites that could infest rabbit
- state the ways of controlling specimen G (rat) on an animal farm
- state the effects of specimen H (tick) on cattle
- state the ways of controlling tick
