Revision of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of integers
Recall: Integer is a counting whole numbers, either positive or negative. Examples 1,5,20,-1,-5 etc
These numbers can be added, subtracted, divided or multiplied.
Addition of integers;
486+289=775
-25+(-78)=-103
Subtraction of integers;
582-328=254
902-437=465
Multiplication of integers;
181×42=7602
208×5=1040
Division of integers;
972÷27=972/27=36
1008÷12=1008/12=84
Class Activity:
Solve the following;
3092+216+1801=() ̇
2968-989=() ̇
318×2=() ̇
420÷12=() ̇
Concept of Modular Arithmetic
