These solar panels convert energy from sunlight directly into electricity. Solar power is a renewable source of energy—it will never run out.
Effects of energy on society
Energy has become more necessary in the following areas:-
- Machines and factories, buses, cars, trains and planes, ships and submarines require energy.
- Energy is being used for running clocks and watches, typewriters, shaving razors etc. Without energy, many things will be paralysed.
- Energy is used in banks, hospital, schools, ports, telecommunication industries, media houses, homes etc.
Flat-Plate Collector
A flat-plate collector uses the Sun’s energy to warm a fluid such as water. The water flows through tubes and heats a house.
