Oyo Conducts CBT Exams For 5,300 Students Seeking Admission Into Science Schools

Oyo State Government, on Saturday, conducted the 2023 Competitive Entrance Examination for Five Thousand, Three Hundred (5,300) candidates seeking admission into the Seven Science Schools across the state.

The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof.Salihu Abdulwaheed, monitored the computer-based exercise in three Centres in the Ibadan metropolis, namely: The Polytechnic Ibadan CBT Centre, Atanda CBT Centre, Ring road, Ibadan and Yinbol College CBT Center, Orogun, Ibadan, explained that the process was geared towards enhancing a qualitative educational system in the state.

He explained that the Examination was hitch-free in all the Computer-Based Test Centres in the State.

The Commissioner, expressed happiness at the turnout of candidates, while he equally commended the parents and guardians for their promptness.

He said, “In all the three centers that have been monitored, the students and centers are doing wonderfully well. Although, there is still room for improvement.”

The ministry is equally looking forward to having one or two Accredited Computer Base Exams Centers so that the Ministry could be conducting exams of this nature for our students and other agencies that may want to do the kind of this exam in the near future.”

“The turn-out was very okay at those designated examination centers.I also commended the students for comporting themselves; some of them obeyed and complied with the rules and regulations of the examination.”
