The Direct Entry requirements for Marine Engineering in UNIJOS is obscure and not so reliable since a good number of Nigerians’ polytechnics are not undertaking this courses; however, it is 50/50 chance of crossing from other engineering departments to marine. - The candidates must meet up with jamb demand by scoring good grade (Not less than 230)

- The school attends to external exams such as pre-degree with certified and accredited centres
