Suggested courses to study with E8 in Chemistry

Some specific requirements are needed from applicants for the particular science courses they are applying to study. Some of those requirements which include having a minimum of Credit in Chemistry in the O-Level examination (WAEC, NECO, GCE, etc.)

For some reason, most science aspirants end up getting an E8 in Chemistry, which negates their hope of getting shortlisted for that year’s admission

However, this article has helped aspirants with suggestions of courses they can opt-in for, with E8 in Chemistry.

Below is the list of suggested courses to study with E8 in Chemistry

B.Sc in Computer Information and Communication Studies – An O’level credit pass in Chemistry is not compulsory.

B.Sc in Chemistry – E8 in Chemistry is most times considered

B.Sc in Geography
The basic requirements are five (5) O level passes in; English Language, Mathematics, Geography, and any two (2) from Social Sciences or science. Hence, the presence of E8 in chemistry is not a barrier

B.ed in Agricultural education – E8 in Chemistry is most times considered
B.Sc in Biology – E8 in Chemistry is most times considered
B.Sc in Mathematics – E8 in Chemistry is considered since chemistry is not required to study this particular course.

B.Sc in Economics – E8 in Chemistry is optional since chemistry is not required to study this particular course.

Statistics – The O ‘level requirements are Mathematics and at least three subjects from Chemistry, Statistics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Economics, and Geography. which means you can study statistics in most universities that offer statistics with E8 in chemistry.

Building/Building technology

Building technology is a science major that accepts chemistry since chemistry is not required to study this particular course.

Botany – is a science concerned with the study of plants. The main branches of botany (also referred to as “plant science”) are commonly divided into three groups: core topics, the classification and description of plant diversity.

Biology – is the natural science that studies life and living organisms, including their physical structure, chemical processes, molecular interactions, physiological mechanisms, development, and evolution.
