TYPES OF INFORMATION TRANSMISSION (Satellite, Wireless, and cable).
Information can be transmitted in various ways, i.e. satellite, wireless, and cable.
SUB-TOPIC 1:
SATELLITE TRANSMISSION
A satellite is any object that revolves around a planet in a circular or elliptical path. The moon is Earth’s natural satellite at 240,000 miles distant. Other satellites that fulfill this definition are man made and have been launched into orbit to carry out specific functions.
A communication satellite (sometimes abbreviated to COMSAT) is an artificial satellite stationed in space for the purpose of telecommunications.
Functions of Satellite
iii. It makes live telecast of importance events. E.g world cup matches, Olympic game
