  1. Define a plant
  2. Identify different types of plants in their environment.
  3. Draw a plant

Building Background /connection to prior knowledge: Students are familiar with plants as a living organisms

Content:

Plants are living organisms that take in carbon dioxide and produce oxygen. They can manufacture their food by themselves. They beautify our environment and can be found everywhere.

Types of plants include:-

  1. Waterleaf flower
  2. Cowpea flower
  3. Paw paw tree
  4. Mango tree
  5. Iroko tree etc

 Evaluation:

  1. Define a plant

Topic: Uses of plants

Behavioural objectives: At the end of the lesson, students should be able to;

  1. State the uses of plants to animal
  2. State the uses of plants to man
