Postgraduate Programmes:

In addition to the first degrees, the university commenced Postgraduate Diploma and Masters degree and will run Doctorate degree Programmes.

Candidates for the Masters Degree programmes must be holders of first degrees from recognized universities with a minimum of Second-Class Honors or other equivalent qualification.

Candidates for the Doctorate Degree programmes must have a Masters Degree from recognized universities or equivalent.

Postgraduate Diploma Programmes

Candidates must possess:

  1. Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at maximum of two sittings;
  2. Relevant Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University not lower than Third Class; or
  3. Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class (Lower Division) in an area not related to the field applying for may be considered; and
  4. Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Merit in related field of study from a Polytechnic or any recognized institution.

Academic Master Degree Programmes

Candidates must possess:

  1. Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at a maximum of two sittings;
  2. First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in relevant field with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division); and
  3. A Candidate with a Postgraduate Diploma with a CGPA of not less than 3.50.

Professional Master Degree Programmes

Candidates must possess:

  1. Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at a maximum of two sittings
  2. First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in relevant field with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division); and
  3. A candidate with a Third-Class Degree or HND and a Postgraduate Diploma from Kaduna State University or any recognized institution with a CGPA of not less than 3.50

Doctor of Philosophy Programmes

Candidates must possess:

  1. Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at a maximum of two sittings;
  2. First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in relevant field with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division); and
  3. Masters Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in the proposed
  4. field of study with minimum CGPA of 3.50.
