Uyo City Polytechnic (UCP) is a private polytechnic located in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Uyo City Polytechnic (UCP) metamorphosed from the former School of Accountancy and Business Studies, Uyo which was established in 1972 by Late Mr. J. S. Etukudo. School of Accountancy was changed to Uyo City Polytechnic by Dr. Emmanuel Ekott in 2003 and was accredited in 2012 by the National Board for Technical Education. The current Governing Council was reconstituted in 2019.
