Date of Establishment just like the mustard seed, the dream of Ogun State Institute Technology, Igbesa (OGITECH), formerly Gateway (ICT) Polytechnic, Igbesa (GPI); was planted through the former Governor, His Excellency Otunba Gbenga Daniel in the heart of Ogun-West Senatorial District which had no evidence of Government presence in terms of State-owned tertiary institution with the official commissioning of the Institute’s plaque on Thursday, 29th June, 2006.
