This is a List of colleges of Education in Bayelsa State, a state in the South South region of Nigeria, located in the core of the Niger Delta. The state capital is Yenagoa, the state is the smallest in Nigeria by population as of the 2006 census. Bayelsa State has the largest crude oil reserve in the Niger Delta of Nigeria. The state produces over 40 per cent of the country’s on-shore crude oil.
