This is a List of Colleges of Education in Akwa Ibom State, a state in the South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria, with Uyo as the state capital. Its area formed part of Cross River state until 1987, when Akwa Ibom state was created, and the first experimental Local Government (County) in British West Africa was Ikot Ekpene in Akwa Ibom State.
