ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
The requirements for admission into the Pre-degree programs are credits in Senior Secondary School Certificate / General Certificate of Education (SSCE/GCE), National Examination Council (NECO), Ordinary Level Examination (in not more than two sittings) in Chemistry, English Language, Mathematics, Biology, or Agricultural Science and Physics (for Science Students) and Economics and any two of Geography, Government, Commerce and Financial Account (for management Science students).
PRE-DEGREE SCIENCE AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCE PROGRAM:
All Pre-degree students must take English Language and Mathematics subjects in addition to three other subjects; Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for science students while the management Science students are to take Commerce, Government and Economics Programme.
The courses are taught in two semesters by qualified tutors and the students are assessed through internally conducted Continuous Assessment Tests (CAT) during the semesters and main examinations at the end of each semester. Intensive coaching includes lectures, tutorials, and laboratory practical (for science students).
SCORING AND PLACEMENT INTO DEGREE PROGRAMMES OF FUNAAB:
Each student is expected to score an aggregate of 50% and above at the end of the session plus minimum score (as determined by the university) in UTME and post UTME. All these will be used to calculate a composite score for the student before being enlisted for placement into the degree programs of the University.
