UNILORIN Freshers Are To Resume October
Quote from Sunday on ,The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has assured parents and other stakeholders that all the newly admitted students of the University would resume their various academic programmes in October this year.
Prof. Egbewole gave this assurance when he paid an unscheduled visit to UNILORIN FM 89.3, the official radio station of the University.
The Vice Chancellor, who did not mention the specific number of candidates offered admission, explained that the admission exercise has been practically concluded as most of the successful candidates have been paying clearance fees confirming the acceptance of their admission.
The UNILORIN's Chief Executive noted that the exercise went well as the University of Ilorin remains the most sought-after University in Nigeria, considering the number of candidates who applied for admissions into the University.
The renowned legal luminary congratulated all the successful candidates and charged them to always be of good conduct, obey the rules of the University and be good ambassadors of their respective homes and parents.
Prof. Egbewole, who is also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), admonished the staff and students of the University to continue to key into the vision of his administration ''so that our target to become the Number One University in Nigeria, one of the best ten in Africa and among the best 500 in the world would be realised''.
