This is to inform the University community that the clearance and election into the Students Electoral Commission have been concluded. In accordance with Section 31(4)(c) of the Students Union Constitution, a Secretary has to be elected by the Parliament from among the elected Commissioners representing the fourteen (14) Faculties of the University. It is important to note that no ELECO representative in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine because the Faculty is yet to be recognized by Union's Constitution and the Parliament being a new Faculty.

Consequently, Parliament will sit on Saturday 26th August, 2023 to elect a Secretary for the Students Electoral Commission for 2022/2023 academic session.

Attached herewith is the list of elected and cleared Commissioners.
