FUOYE Adds To Her Study Centres - See Locations

This is in line with its principle of impacting communities in the environment and bringing education closer to the grassroots.
FUOYE Public Relations Officer, Foluso Ogunmodede, said, “The university has approved Pharmaceutical Garden for its Pharmacy students for their practical and research on herbs and mixing drugs.
“The university has also extended its Institute of Part-Time on Computer Science to Isinbode. It will be an affiliate of the Institute of Part-Time, FUOYE. This brings to six the communities where FUOYE now has education consults in the state to bring education closer to the grassroots.
“The gesture is one of the cardinal principles of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abayomi Fasina, that the school must impact communities in the state in terms of education, research, economy, and social activities,” he said.
The traditional ruler of Isinbode, the Onisin of Isinbode Ekiti, Oba Akinyemi Adesoji, who lauded FUOYE for the gesture, which he said was in response to their requests, said that his community would benefit immensely from it.
Adesoji said, “In any environment where you have a tertiary institution, definitely, there will be development there. It will improve social life and the economic activities of the community.
“Even, the youths in the community, those who have not been willing to further their education will be inspired and change their minds to study further because the school is now at their doorstep. We are all happy about the development,” the monarch said.
