The difference between force and impulse: Force is that push or pull that will change or tend to change the state of rest or uniform motion of a body while impulse is the product of the (average) force acting on a body and the time duration which it acts.

OR Force = mass x acceleration while impulse = Force x time of action

OR Unit of force = Newton

Unit of impulse = NS
