Direct Entry requirements for Petroleum Engineering in FUPRE

  • Distinction or second lower grade ‘A’ level passes chosen from Civil engineering from a reputable and accredited polytechnics
  • The candidates must meet up with jamb demand by scoring good grade (Not less than 230)
  • There is room for switching from closely related engineering courses from the same school be it after you have gained admission or at the point of applying
  • The school attends to external exams such as pre-degree with certified and accredited centres

UTME requirements for Petroleum Engineering in FUPRE

The candidate must have Five credit passes in SSCE including:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry

NOTE: Biology, geography or any other science-based subjects are not relevant apart from the selected four.

Most importantly, the candidate must score high in his or her UTME exam with a minimum of {230, this varies annually and with general performances in the UTME}.

O – Level Subject Combination for Petroleum Engineering in FUPRE

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry plus any of
  • Further mathematics or Biology or Geography or Computer Science.

Do well to have minimum grade in all the subjects because anything less of that might be a challenge in being considered.
