Direct Entry requirements for Fishery in UNICAL

  • Two ‘A’ level passes chosen from Fishery and Aquaculture or closely related Agro-biological courses are often considered when admitting.
  • Crossing from any Agricultural departments in the same school is allowed but the candidate has to apply appropriately by following the laydown guidelines by the institution with good JAMB score.
  • The candidate must meet up with UTME requirements and score high mark in the exam.

UTME requirements for Fishery in UNICAL

The candidate must have Five credit passes in SSCE including:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Agricultural Science
  • Biology

NOTE: Geography, Physics, and even Chemistry are not needed; it is preferable to select Biology in place of any other subject when filling UTME form.

Most importantly, the candidate must score high in UTME exam with a minimum of {220, this varies annually and with general performances in the UTME}.

O’Level Subject Combinations for Fishery in UNICAL
