Assuming you’re an Art student and you passed all your WAEC subjects except Literature in English, would you want to wait for an extra year at home without gaining admission into the higher institution or look for some good courses to study without Literature in English?
Most of the people we interviewed have confirmed that they would prefer to look for other good courses to study without Literature in English, and that is the exact reason why Erudites Academy decided to conduct some research to help you find some good courses you can study in higher institution without Literature.
We understand that some candidates originally wanted to study LAW, however, since they don’t have Literature in English, it might be wise for them to choose other good causes to study instead of waiting at home doing nothing. Of course, you can be in the university and at the same time enroll for another O LEVEL exam so that you can pass the deficit course. I recommend you do this if you seriously wish to study that course that requires Literature in English.
Before I list the good courses to study without Literature in English, let me quickly tell you some of the reasons why I think these courses are good and why you shouldn’t waste time at home.
Now, if you’re thinking whether you should wait for an extra year or not, I want you to think about the following points:
Now that you’ve seen some of the reasons why you might want to choose another course other than the one you previously wish to study; it is important for you to choose a course that can open more ways for you.
Do not choose a course because of desperation to gain admission. If you do, you might not like it. I know there are several courses to study without Literature, however, some of the courses are not worth it at all. They are not worth the time and sacrifice. Of course, some people might say that every course is good, however, you need to remember that not every course is marketable in Nigeria. So, think about it.
The courses above are very good. Psychology, for instance, can open your eyes to unlimited opportunities. You could become a consultant, a researcher, a counselor, etc.
Visual and applied art is a creative course that will increase your creativity and help you discover more opportunities that can sustain itself.
There are so much to say, but I believe you’ve already learnt the important thing in this article. We’ve published several information about the UTME requirements for the courses above, so I encourage you to search this website so that you can find more information before you make your final decision.
